Was going to say something punny, but decided thats too easy, this comment be headed in another direction.
It strikes me as odd that there is a pool of blood, but no splatter or drips to be seen. I would think there would be a trail or blood leading to the body, or following the path the severed head travelled, since to me it looks fairly fresh.
